Note: After selecting the country and shipment options, you will be able to see the methods of payment we offer. Not every payment method is available in every country. After you choose the payment method, you will see the total cost of the order including shipping expenses. So you know exactly what everything will cost, before you enter any personal information.
Important: Please make sure your email return address is correct! Otherwise you cannot receive our automatic email that confirms that your order has been received. You also may check your spam filter. Please add
Credit Card
A credit card has a 16-digit number embossed on the card (Amex 15-digit) -- unlike EC Cards, which we do not accept online at Fine Tools. Your card will be charged once you have pressed the button "Buy now". The transaction is secure and SSL enyrypted.
DIRECTebanking
To be able to use this payment method, you must have an online-banking account. You can then transfer money immediately, with your PIN (personal identification number ) and a TAN (transaction number) to Fine Tools, directly after making the order. This payment method is certified secure by the German Technical Monitoring System (TUV) and is fast and accurate, because the appropriate forms are automatically filled out. The advantage to you is that your order will be sent out the same working day, as long as we get the order before 3 pm (15:00). Note that this same-day dispatch service depends on an item being in stock. Since we have 99% of our items in stock in our warehouse, normally this works. Very occasionally though, we might have run out of an item but will get it in the mail to you as soon as possible.
Cash-on-Delivery
If you select cash on delivery, you pay directly with the delivery service upon receipt of the package. Choosing this payment method increases your cost, as shipping companies charge extra for this service. This extra charge will be shown in your bill. Among the shipping services we use, cash-on-delivery is only possible with UPS.
Debit
With debit you give your bank information to us with your order, and give us permission to withdraw the amount listed on the invoice directly out of your account. Since this form of payment is essentially a form of credit, we ask you to understand that we must often reject this method of payment with new clients or very large orders. We will then propose a different payment method.
Bank Transfer
If you select bank transfer, we will check our inventories to make sure we have the entire order ready to do, and then we will send you an order confirmation with all the information necessary to transfer the money directly into our account. This assures you that you pay nothing for articles that must, for instance, be back-ordered. This means of payment is then not a good choice if you would like to have the order as fast as possible. The order confirmation can only be sent during working hours, and then the transfer will take a minimum of 1 or 2 days before we receive the money in our account.
